Sološnica

The quarry is located in the cadastral territory of the municipality Solosnica, district Malacky.

Solosnica is the most modern quarry in Slovakia and has a capacity of more than 1 mio. tones/year. Furthermore Solosnica is the leading supplier of asphalt aggregates and railway ballast in western Slovakia.

Quality management system is implemented in the quarry Sološnica, which meets the requirements of EN ISO 9001 standard for the quarrying and processing of aggregates and also the environmental management system EN ISO 14001.

crushed aggregate from volcanic rock - Melaphyre (Paleobasalt)

• Asphalt aggregates for wear course (LA < 20, PSV > 52)
• Asphalt aggregates for base corse
• Aggregates for road concrete (LA < 20, PSV > 52, ASR resistent)
• Railway ballast – approved supplier for Slovakia, Austria and Czech Repbulic

  The material can be loaded to wagons at our own railway loading station in Malacky (with secondary sorting and washing directly in the wagon).
