1.     GENERAL/RESPONSIBILITY

With this Data Protection Declaration, ALAS Baustoff-Holding GmbH – representing all ALAS group companies – hereinafter referred to as ALAS – would like to inform the readers and users of the website (users) about the nature, extent and purpose of the processed personal data. Furthermore, affected persons / users are informed about their rights through this Data Protection Declaration.

We know that the careful handling of your personal data is very important to you and appreciate your confidence that ALAS will conscientiously handle this data.

2.     WHAT PERSONAL DATA / INFORMATION IS PROCESSED FOR WHAT PURPOSE?

Generally, we collect information when you visit our websites. This information is referred to as a “cookie.” Along with the information you provide, we can tailor your visits to our website to your needs.

ALAS may have the personal data processed by external processors. The processing of the personal data takes place exclusively for the purposes specified by you.

We use your use of your personal data exclusively for the purposes described above. We will never sell or deal with your personal data to third parties without prior notice to you in accordance with current data protection laws.

5.     DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA / RETENTION PERIOD

ALAS generally processes and stores personal data of the data subject only for the period required to achieve the purpose of the storage or for the period provided for in laws or regulations governing the data controller (eg statutory retention periods).

If the purpose for which the personal data has been stored is omitted or if a statutory retention period expires, the personal data will be routinely and in accordance with the statutory provisions blocked or deleted.

6.     RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT AFFECTED BY THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

As a data subject you have the following rights within the meaning of the GDPR:

    • RIGHT OF ACCESS TO INFORMATION

The data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right at any time to receive free information from the responsible person concerning the personal data stored about him as well as a copy of this data. If the right of access to information is exercised in an excessive manner to the responsible person, ALAS as responsible person may collect his local fee for the administrative costs of providing information to the data subject.

    • RIGHT OF RECTIFICATION (RIGHT OF CORRECTION/Art. 16 GDPR)

The data subject has the right to demand from the person responsible without delay the correction of incorrect personal data concerning him.

    • RIGHT TO ERASURE (RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN/Art. 17 GDPR)

The data subject has the right to ask the person responsible for the personal data concerning him or her to be deleted immediately if they are not required for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed and if the cancellation does not prevent any legal grounds. If the deletion is requested by the data subject, ALAS verifies the aforementioned legal requirements and informs the data subject of this.

    • RIGHT TO RESTRICTION OF PROCESSING (Art. 18 GDPR)

The data subject is entitled to require the person responsible to restrict the processing.

    • RIGHT TO DATA PROTABILITIY (Art. 20 GDPR)

The data subject has the right to receive the personal data relating to him or her in a structured, common and machine – readable format, and has the right to transfer that information to another person without hindrance by the person responsible.

    • RIGHT TO OBJECT (Art. 21 GDPR)

The data subject has the right, at any time, to object to the processing of their data due to their particular situation. Exemption: data processing is based on a public interest or in the exercise of official authority. If ALAS processes personal data in order to operate direct mail, the data subject has the right to object at any time to the processing of their data. This also applies to profiling especially as it is associated with such direct mailings.

    • RIGHT TO REJECT A CONSENT (Art 7 GDPR)

Any data subject affected by the processing of personal data has the right to revoke a previously granted consent to data processing at any time. The revocation of consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

    • RIGHT TO COMPLAIN (Art. 77 GDPR)

If the data subject comes to the conclusion that the processing of his personal data violates the Data Protection Regulations or his data protection claims otherwise have been violated, he can contact the supervisory authority acc. Complain with Art. 77 GDPR.

Our ALAS Klöch GmbH offers a whistleblower system that provides a safe and trustworthy way to report indications of violations of laws and internal regulations on the part of our company or our employees.

Both employees and external parties (customers, suppliers, business partners, etc.) have the opportunity to submit tips via our reporting channel.

Reporting procedure:

Tips received are recorded and processed by our Whistleblower Officer. Information is only made available to those persons who need it to investigate the whistleblower. Unless there are legal requirements to the contrary, the identity of the whistleblower and the person concerned will be kept confidential.

After three months at the latest, you will receive feedback on whether and what measures have been taken as a result of the tip-off or for what reasons the tip-off was not followed up. Please note that deliberately false reports may result in legal consequences depending on their nature and scope.
